CANCELLED! District Celebration Luau

It was our hope to celebrate this great Rotary year with a year-ending event; however, as we all maintain Shelter in Place to ensure the safety of all, this year’s District Conference has been canceled. As we continue to stay engaged via online “gatherings’, we may hold a celebratory event online later in May or early June. Details to follow.

We are called to respond to the coronavirus crisis, as our voices and Rotarian commitment to Service Above Self are needed across the entire globe right now. Rotarians around the district have responded in helping their communities; and I am so proud of our efforts. I’ve heard from several clubs and community needs are being addressed like helping with local and regional food banks. Online mentoring of students has proven to be a great way to help students not only in education, but also in uplifting their spirit. Another project had 21 clubs participate in distributing hand sanitizer to first responder in their community.
