The RIPPR for the District 9820 "Breaking the Chains" Conference to be held in Bendigo from 20th-22nd March has been nominated by RI President Mark Maloney, as Brenda Cressey from the Rotary Club of Paso Robles in California, USA.
 
Brenda is the former CEO of Office Support Systems, a telecommunications business in Maine. She has served in many volunteer capacities with civic organisations such as the American Cancer Society.
 
A Rotarian since 1989, Brenda served as the first female chair and vice chair of The Rotary Foundation. Before that, she held numerous positions in membership, the Foundation, and training.
 
Brenda was a Future Vision RRFC Training Institute moderator, an endowment/major gifts adviser, a Council on Legislation representative, RI president’s representative, 2012 International Assembly executive committee member and its partner moderator, District Governor, and RI training leader.
 
She is a recipient of Rotary International’s Service Above Self Award, the Rotary Foundation Citation for Meritorious Service, and the Rotary Foundation Distinguished Service Award.
 
Brenda and her husband, Richard, are Major Donors and members of the Paul Harris, Arch Klumph, and Legacy societies.
 
PDGs Janne and Charlie Speirs will be aides to the RIPPR at the conference.
