I have received a request to do a Friendship Exchange with District 2981, Tamil Nadu, India. They plan to send a small group of 6-10 people (men and women) and I would like to organise a group to visit them. They are a very welcoming group of Rotarians who looked after me and my GSE team extremely well in January 2008.
The scope of the exchange has yet to be established, but it would be something like the following:
- 10–14 days
- Home hosted (unless otherwise requested)
- NOT between 15 April and 15 August as it is too hot (and wet). The most pleasant time of the year is January
- Fly into and out of Chennai (unless otherwise requested). Flights usually go via Singapore
- Location - Tamil Nadu
I need to know the following:
- Who is interested (How many people)
- What time of the year would you prefer? Please give a couple of times
