Rotary Club of Traralgon Central members got the message loud and clear when Jude Ripper, wife of DG Don, asked the club to take part in her project for the Rotary year, planting trees.

Members joined with staff from Latrobe City Council to plant shrubs in the Agnes Brereton Reserve in the centre of Traralgon.
Explained RCTC member Charlie Medhurst, who has planted more trees than he has had hot dinners: ``It was a pleasure to contact the council and see what projects we could help along in answer to Mrs Ripper's plea. It was cold out there but once we got going we didn't notice it and we planted more trees than the council had anticipated.''
