Narre Warren: On Anzac day members helped the RSL with their Dawn Service at Bunjil Place, Narre Warren. The club is proud to serve ANZAC Gunfire Breakfast for more than 35 years. A special thank you to the community service director, Tim Fisher, for his many hours of preparation, organisation and supervision. He had a great job organising Forty-six volunteers from the Rotary Club of Narre Warren and families, Rotary Club of Berwick, Casey Cardinia Rotaract Club, SES Narre Warren and the Inner Wheel Club of Narre Warren.

into the proposed new
plant at the Maryvale mill, one which will cut emissions and provide much needed power from domestic waste from across Victoria.
plant at the Maryvale mill, one which will cut emissions and provide much needed power from domestic waste from across Victoria.He explained that a $7.5m feasibility study has been undertaken with the intention of a main plant being online by 2022. The waste, collected mainly from kerbside municipal bins, would be transported mainly from Melbourne's south east suburbs and Gippsland, either by truck or train. The technology, already used widely in Europe, would see an anticipated 650,000 tonnes burnt to create steam to power machinery at the mill.
More than 400 would be employed during the building phase with full time jobs for nearly 50 once completed.
