Rotary District 5440 Literacy Scholarship

2010 (Calendar Year)

2 awards at $1,000 each

to be used for literacy education coursework at the

University of Wyoming to support in-service teachers

Eligibility:  The intended recipients are in-service teachers who are and will be teaching next year within the geographical boundaries of Wyoming; northern Colorado above Loveland and including Craig, Steamboat, Sterling and Julesburg; Scottsbluff, Gering, and Morrill, Nebraska; and the Teton Valley area of eastern Idaho.   Submit applications to the UW College of Education Dean's Office, 1000 E. University Ave., Dept. 3374, Laramie, WY82071 or debm@uwyo.edu no later than February 12, 2010 for consideration for funding in calendar year 2010. Notification of award will be made on February 26, 2010. Scholarship recipients will be required to submit a brief statement to the UW College of Education Dean's Office at the end of each calendar year describing the use of the scholarship funds.
