1. Chromebooks in the Classroom to Meet the Needs of the 21st Century Learner: The Loveland Club has transitioned from presenting dictionaries to students to providing a classroom set of Chrome books in classrooms. Come and learn about why they made the change, how they raised the funds, what the action plan to get this initiative done, and the impact on literacy learning this has made for students. Presenter: Dave Mills, Loveland Club of Loveland Colorado

2. Poudre School District and Community Partnerships: How can Rotarians, businesses, citizens, government agencies partner to meet not only the needs of students but also help their communities thrive. Poudre School District has worked strategically to align these partnerships. Come and learn how as Rotarians you can support literacy and learning in a variety of ways in education. Presenter: Beth Higgins Coordinator for Community Partnerships in the Poudre School District, Ft. Collins, Colorado.

3. The Book Trust:  Providing students the opportunity to select and own books of their choice results in better reading skills and higher levels of achievement. How can we help more kids become passionate readers? Come and learn about the Book Trust and how one club is making progress in this area. Presenter: John Hintzman from the Fort Collins Club, Fort Collins Breakfast Club Co

4. Restorative Practices and Literacy: Social dynamics and conflicts influence every child's ability to learn, especially for tweens (ages 10-12) and teens. In this session, you will see how restorative justice is being implemented in one school to establish safety and trust, which in turn provides a solid foundation for academics. Come and hear more about tween and teen learners, and what we, as Rotarians, can do to support literacy for students and teachers in your own community through knowledge, understanding, support, and resources.  Presenter:  Amanda Sutton, Middle School Science Teacher Casper Wyoming, Chairperson of the Five Trails Satellite Group. 

5. 1,000 books for kindergarten: One of the most important ways to prepare young children for school and future success is to read to them. Libraries can help foster this reading bond between parent and child. Both Clearview and High Plains Library Districts have partnerships with communities to increase literacy Find out how the Rotary Club of Windsor partnered with Clearview Library District to support early literacy success. Learn how citizens in Weld County through the High Plains Library District can use Rotary support in a variety of ways. Presenters: Elena Rosenfield Director of the High Plains Library District and Ann Kling Rotary Club of Windsor, Colorado.

The three closest hotels to LCCC are off of I-80 and Hwy 85 about 1 to 1.5 miles to the college.  No room blocks have been reserved so no need to mention Rotary.
