2019 TUSCARAWAS VALLEY CORPORATE CUP
   
The Rotary Club of Dover held the 2019 Tuscarawas Valley Corporate Cup on July 27th at the Tuscarawas County YMCA.
 
Six teams participated. The obstacle course included dizzy corn hole, using a water toy to knock over bottles while wearing fireman gear, pushing a huge ball through obstacles, making a soccer goal, picking up cones while blindfolded, finding a cherry in whipped cream and spitting the pit in a bowl, and spelling out YMCA after donning appropriate gear.   
 
For the third year in a row, the First National Bank of Dennison was the winner.  Proceeds will benefit the Dover Rotary’s charitable initiatives.
 
 
ANNUAL SUMMER PICNIC
   
The Rotary Club of Dover held its Annual Summer Picnic on August 5 at the Breitenbach Wine Cellars Pavilion.  The views from the hilltop were spectacular and there was a constant summer breeze.Rotarians, along with their families and friends enjoyed a wonderful evening enjoying a great meal, fellowship, and music by Max Beal, a 2019 Dover High School graduate.

DOVER ROTARY PAVILION
   
The Rotary Club of Dover held its August 12 meeting at the Dover Rotary Pavilion at Dover City Park.  Dover High School football coach Dan Ifft spoke about the 2019 Dover Tornadoes football season and the lessons that he has learned over the year including the importance of community.  This will be Dan Ifft’s 25th year with the Dover Tornadoes.
