You may remember that 2 years ago the East Liverpool club renovated the 76 year old community swimming pool, together with its pump and motor. This fall, with the help of a district grant, we have taken responsibility to renovate the outdoor furniture, fencing and stairway. The wooden structures--picnic tables, benches, stairs and lounges--have suffered years of exposure to outdoor weather and insects. Metal fencing has rusted. With the District grant, East Liverpool will welcome next year's summer swimming season with newly renovated equipment.
