DECEMBER CHARACTER COUNTS SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS RECOGNIZED
During the December 20, 2019 Rotary meeting, Canton Club President, Mark Rojek along with Canton Rotarian Michael Brown, who is the Executive Director of the Eric Snow Family Center YMCA as well as the Character Count Leader, presented the December Character Counts Scholarship recipients. The December winners were: Mickey Russ and Ayden Compton.
THE ROTARY CLUB OF CANTON HELD IT'S FIRST "SWEET" TREAT AUCTION
During the Friday, December 20, 2019 meeting, Canton Rotarian Becky Clark chaired the club's first "Sweet" treat auction.
All proceeds from this auction will benefit the Canton Rotary Charitable Fund.
Canton Rotarians have been busy this holiday season volunteering for the following events!
Stark County Hunger Task Force:
At the December 6th Canton Rotary meeting, Canton Rotarians helped the Stark County Hunger Task Force organize and stock products on shelves and make holiday cards for school children.
Salvation Army Bell-Ringing:
Canton Rotarians found some time out of their busy holiday schedule to ring the bell for The Salvation Army kettles on December 7th.
PACK THE BUS!
The Rotary Club of Canton partnered this year with the McKinley Senior High School Band to once again re-stock several elementary school pantries.
