Fitch Choir Visits Rotary
A part of the Fitch Concert Choir visited the February 12 meeting of the Rotary Club of Austintown. Director Bill Klein explained the group's spring tour which will include a veteran hospital in New Jersey and culminate in a performance at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Two of the nine selections for Carnegie Hall were performed, with enthusiastic applause from the Rotary, which collected nearly $200. by "passing the hat". Also part of the meeting was presentation of a check to Tony Rivetti to help finance a Middle East War Memorial for the Veterans Park in Wickliffe Circle. Pictured is Tony Rivetti receiving a check from President Bruce Laraway and Treasurer Brian Frederick.
