Rotary Club of Millersburg

 

 

The Millersburg Rotary Club Scholarship Recipient is West Holmes High School senior, Carah Porter.  The $1,400 award will assist Carah as she pursues a Pre-Medicine major at Ohio Northern University. Miss Porter has been active in HPAC (Health Professions Affinity Community) which is a student-driven organization to improve the health of the community. The outreach program works to integrate intellectually and developmentally disabled students with the student body population to break down barriers and allow them to be treated and viewed the same.  She intends to continue working with the HPAC program in college. Carah has a passion to work with children and aspires to be a pediatrician. She is a member of the National Honors Society and has been involved in high school band and theater.
