The Rotary club of Canfield was founded on 20 July 1955.  The sponsor club was the Rotary Club of Youngstown with help from Rotarian Robert Manchester.
The 60th Anniversary celebration was held on Friday, 17 July.  Guest of honor was Charter member James Allen, along with his family: daughter Meg and her daughter; daughter-in-law, Claudia, a former Rotary exchange student from Columbia, and her daughter Christina, who is quite active with Rotaract in Texas.  Jim shared some the history of the Canfield club.  Jim’s late wife Jeannie served as secretary, although she was not a club member.

The 60th anniversary was also the club’s president changeover.  2014-2015 President Sam Boak was recognized by the club with a Paul Harris fellow as was Anthony Nacarato.  Sam presented Paul Harris fellows to Donna Boak, Mike Raulin and Dolores Saunders.  Additional Rotarians earning awards this year were Mike Raulin, Jane Perrett, and Sieglinde Warren.
DG Joe Belinsky inducted new member, Donna Bricker, and installed the 2015-2016 Canfield President Jane Perrett and her board.
