Local District Grant Funds:  Nearly $50,000 in funds have been distributed to our Clubs for local project. These monies will provide support for:
 
• Book/Dictionary/Thesaurus Projects from Dalton, Newcomerstown, Niles, Salem, Struthers, Wooster. STEM program support from East Canton. Scholarships for Local Students in Hubbard. RYLA scholarships from Louisville. “Get Connected Initiative and Literacy with Technology” support from Wooster. 
 
• Community park trail from Alliance. Park septic system from Carrollton. Park concession/restroom from Kinsman. Lincoln Park Pavilion restoration from Massillon. Rotary Pavilion restoration in Block Park from Minerva. Park support from Niles. Park restoration with landscaping/lighting from Poland. Park signage from Rittman. Wick Park Pavilion renovation from Youngstown.
 
• Habitat for Humanity support from Boardman. “Operation Save a Life” smoke detectors from Canton. Police K-9 unit support from Canfield. Police cameras for Dennison. Attractive trash containers for downtown East Palestine. Life-saving vests for paramedics in Jackson Township. Community kitchen toiletry drive from Struthers. Community announcement sign from Sugarcreek.
 
• “Operation Warm” coats for children from Dover. Support for needy families in Niles. “Forming YOUth” healthy choice/leadership education from North Canton.
 
• Third-world mission eye exams from Canton South. Honduras biomedical engineering from Orrville.

Military Grant Update:  There has been a lot of activity on the Pegasus Project to assist Military and First Responders. More will be shared as this project comes to fruition.
