Dr. Vladimir Donskoy is a university professor from Irkutsk, Russia.  He is the co-founder of Rotary in the former Soviet Union.  He has been a Rotarian since 1990 and is a club past president, secretary and many other roles.  Vladimir was instrumental in establishing most of the Russian Clubs in District 5010 including his own club Irrkutsk-Baikal.

Miss Violetta Makarova was assisted by Vladimir to visit Ballarat as part of an exchange program which has existed between District 9780 Australia  and District 5010 Russia, this Rotary program was implemented by our district and centennial Baikal-Eco club (Russia) as part of the RI's New Generations program. Miss Violetta Makarova is an the intern from Baikal International Business School, Irkutsk State University (Russia), in 2016.
