Support Victims of Domestic Violence

Service: Please register to attend a dinner and presentation on October 24: A Boost for Hope: Supporting Victims of Domestic Violence, at the Westford Regency Inn & Conference Center.

District Grant Benefit on October 24 to Support Victims of Domestic Violence

This event is part of an approved district grant, and the Nashoba Valley club has had very little response to date. This program builds upon a peace event that the club held last year.

The program will feature Marty Foley, who retired from the Massachusetts State Police in 2007, as the keynote speaker. Marty investigated the murder of Mabel Greineder in 1999  and co-authored a book about the case, “A Murder in Wellesley: The Inside Story of an Ivy-League Doctor's Double Life, His Slain Wife, and the Trial That Gripped the Nation.”  Proceeds from the event will benefit the Domestic Violence Services Network (DVSN) “Lawyer for a Day”
program to provide pro bono legal services to victims of domestic violence.
The cost is $25, which includes a buffet dinner and a donation to DVSN. Registration and cocktails will be from 5:30 to 6:30 PM with dinner and the presentation starting at 6:30. There will also be a silent auction to benefit DVSN. To RSVP, register under Events from www.nashobarotary.org, email info@nashobarotary.org, or call Laura Spear at 978-562-4521.
