A highlight of the Rotary Club of Acton-Boxborough's year has long been its December visit to the Life Care Center of Acton, complete with Santa Claus, gifts for the residents, and enthusiastic caroling in the hallways. This year, the club decided to continue its service throughout the seasons by expanding this community partnership.

Since October, when jauntily decorated Halloween pumpkins appeared in the main dining room, Rotary Club members have created new table centerpieces roughly every two months. Christmas green and red have given way to Valentines' Day red and white, then Springtime green and yellow. And as spring turns to summer, the red, white, and blue of the Fourth of July will appear.

The Rotary Club of Acton-Boxborough appreciates the cooperation of Life Care Center Executive Director Chris Foye and Activities Directors Grace Paradis and Sarah Trombley in this ongoing relationship.
