Youth Services Overview

Rotary has a long history of working with Youth, from providing scholarships, encouraging youth leadership and student exchange programs, to sponsoring youth-based service clubs. Youth Service is one of Rotary's five official Avenues of Service.

HIGHLIGHTS:

Interact is proving a driver for membership by engaging parents.

RYLA is a very popular program in District 7910. To make sure the youth in your community get a chance to participate, keep an eye on registration deadlines!

The safety of young people is a top priority for any Rotary-related event. Every club that runs or sponsors activities with youth should have several club members participate in the District's annual Youth Protection Training. (Rotary International recommends that all committee members and volunteers attend a Youth Protection Training seminar in advance of running youth programs such as RYLA, Rotary Youth Exchange, Earlyact, Interact and Rotaract.) This training is mandated by RI as well as federal law, and it's all done on District 7910's dollar - there's no charge to your club!
