Join us as we welcome special guest speaker Judith Black. Judith will speak to us about the proposed Peabody fossil fuel power plant, an oil and gas-fueled power generator proposed by the Massachusetts Municipal Wholesale Electric Company designed to operate during periods of peak demand. Judith will explain how adding another fossil fuel power plant is inconsistent with the need to reduce our dependence on such fuels, and how climate issues like this impact our communities from social and environmental justice perspectives. Join us for this timely presentation which Judith designed based on our Four Way Test.
