Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA 2017)

March 25, 2017

Dublin School, Dublin, NH from 9:30 am - 4:00 pm

Registration Deadline: February 17, 2017

Your club is invited to sponsor high-school aged students to attend the annual Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) event being sponsored by the Monadnock Rotary Club this fall.

This year’s event will be held on March 25, 2017 at the Dublin School. Cost for the event remains the same at $95 per participant.

The Monadnock Rotary Club will continue with our peer leadership program, which gives the selected teens the skills to understand their own leadership styles, how teams work, and how a group can perform more effectively.

Specifically, this program allows the teens to:

  • Understand qualities that make effective leaders and followers.
  • Deepen their awareness around accountability and responsibility.
  • Apply goal-setting and self-assessment strategies in relation to leadership style.
  • Develop skills needed to resolve team conflict.
  • Create an open dialogue among team members and desired behaviors.
  • Build a strong community in order to function as an effective team.

Please make sure to contact your Interact Clubs before winter break to let them know about the program this year. Space is limited and will fill up, so please register your students as soon as possible.
