The Paul Harris Society of District 7490 is a new level of recognition for those donors who choose to give $1,000 or more each Rotary year to The Rotary Foundation. These contributions will be Non-restricted Annual Giving contributions (monies that go into the Annual Programs Fund - 50% of which are returned to our district in three years as District Designated Funds). Paul Harris Society contributions are eligible toward Rotary Foundation Sustaining Member, Paul Harris Fellow, Multiple Paul Harris Fellow, and Major Donor recognition. The Trustees of the Rotary Foundation officially approved the Paul Harris Society as a district-administered recognition program effective July 1, 2006. The Society was officially launched in our district on July 1, 2007.

Commencing with July 1, each donor who agrees to make an annual contribution of $1,000 or more to The Rotary Foundation will be awarded membership in The Paul Harris Society of District 7490.  Members will receive a beautiful and distinctive gold and blue lapel banner to wear with either their Rotary pin or Paul Harris pin plus a membership certificate. Those members who contribute in this Rotary year will be considered Charter Members of the District 7490 Paul Harris Society. On-going special recognition will be given to Society members at club and District events. This includes invitations to special receptions or dinners that may be held during the Rotary Year.

Thank you in advance for your continuing commitment and support of the programs of The Rotary Foundation.
