Shelterbox – Thank you message from Tess Widdifield

Dear District Governor Lesley,
 
I am writing to extend my sincere gratitude for your support of ShelterBox through your commitment to Rotary and service above self. 
 
Around the world, from the Philippines to Paraguay, Somaliland to the Lake Chad Basin, ShelterBox and Rotary are working to ensure no family is left without shelter when disaster strikes.
 
As partners in disaster relief since 2012, we are grateful to have Rotarians involved in ShelterBox responses, providing the vital community links needed to deliver aid and support recovery to families.
 
Rotary is at the heart of every deployment we undertake, that is why I am reaching out to say thank you for making it possible to support over 29,000 families in 2019.
 
At a time when more people have been displaced from their home by events like conflict and natural disasters than at any other time in history, your partnership makes it possible to reach even more families.
