CALLING ALL YOUTH LEADERS!!!!

The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive training program that brings together our youth, ages 14-18, to further develop character, leadership skills and to learn about Rotary.

RYLA 2017 will be held on April 21-23 at Camp Copneconic in Fenton, Michigan.  RYLA 2017 will be led by new co-chairs Kayla Thompson (Birmingham Rotary Club) and Jim Adams (Rotary Club of Troy).  Planning for 2017 has already started and our new program is going one of the best that District 6380 as ever seen, and teens from your community need to be a part of it.  This program will focus on building the foundation for young leaders, and giving them the tools to find their own leadership ability and the confidence to go out and make positive change happen in their communities.

If you, or someone that you know, would be interested in getting more involved in RYLA as a committee member or as a facilitator during the weekend, please let us know.  We are always looking for bright faces to improve our team.

Registration information will be released in January, 2017.  For budgeting purposes, we estimate that RYLA will cost $250 per participant again for 2017.
