...thanks to DG Neil Phillips from District 7070 - here's an update on the Toronto Convention.

Is this your first convention?  Overwhelmed by what to see and do?
- Well here's a few tips.

1.  Be sure to make the Opening Ceremonies on Sunday.  There are two times; it may be noted on your registration page in MyRotary - or you'll find out when you pick up your badge.  It's an amazing welcome to the (literal) world of Rotary, and watching the Flag Ceremony you truly appreciate the breadth of our organisation.

2.  Interested in speakers for the morning plenary sessions?  Well info is being updated regularly - see here for a list of people already announced.  They're always high quality and engaging.

3.  And the many breakout sessions in the afternoons.  Choose among dozens and dozens of topics.

4.  The House of Friendship.  Imagine a large philanthropic tradeshow, with booths on every area of focus, fellowship, merchandise sales, entertainment, food.  Easy to lose yourself for hours, and connect with friends from near and far.

5.  Closing Ceremonies Wednesday are a major highlight, with loads of entertainment.  Can't tell you much about that yet, though.  ;-)

And through it all, events, events, events!  Both the Rotary and Rotaract Host Organising Committees have been active planning - click on those two links to see what's happening.  We'd love to see you there if you're not already busy volunteering (hint, hint).
