The Rotary Club of Stratford celebrated the winners of its 2019 SHORT STORY CONTEST with an awards presentation as part of the Stratford Writers Festival last Saturday October 19th, and we were very fortunate to have, in attendance, Rotary District 6330 Governor Tony Sheard, and his lovely wife Sylvia.

Featured in the photo here are the 1st and 3rd prize winners in the Adult (20 and over) category, Renee Lehnen for DO UNTO OTHERS, and Alexina Dalgetty for PORTOBELLO PETE GETS HIMSELF A CHICKEN.

Unfortunately we had no winners from the Youth (19 and under) category at the presentation as, for instance, Penelope Duran, our first prize winner for two of her stories, CURRYING FORTUNE and EVERLASTING ENCORE, is attending high school in Frankfurt Germany.
