Dear Women in Rotary: My fellow District Governors in Missouri: Jayne Lowe (6110), Linda Puchbauer (6060) and Susan Haralson (6080) and I are hosting the first ever “Power of Women in Rotary Conference.” It will be held in Jefferson City on May 11th from 11-4. The cost is only $25 and includes your lunch for the day. We have filled the day with an action packed list of powerful women speakers.
Our hope is to focus on the power of women in leadership and the power of women in service.
Carrie Tergin, Mayor of Jefferson City will be a featured speaker. She is young and fun and a Rotarian. Carrie spoke briefly at Show Me Rotary last weekend and you could feel her enthusiasm for Rotary in the room. She will share her leadership experience with us.
Also speaking will be Amanda Folmar. She is joining us from Texas and has taken her club from 60-102 in a very short time. She is a millennial and talks about Mascara and M & M’s. I have heard she is quite fabulous.
