The Rotary Foundation's Annual Fund is a key part of how Rotary serves our local communities and the world around us. If your club would like to have a program about the Rotary Foundation, or the Annual Fund, our district has a nice presentation that we'd like to offer to each club that has some recent examples of how the money raised from the Annual Fund has been and continues to be invested in projects, grants, and scholarships.
If your club doesn't currently have a program scheduled about the Foundation, please consider reaching out to Erik at erik.mcguire@scouting.org or (620) 481-0910 and he would be happy to work with your club to get a date set.

Additionally, we want to make sure that everyone is aware of the District 6040 Annual Fund Points match opportunity. Any member who contributes at least $500 between the beginning of the Rotary year (July 1) and World Polio Day on 10/24 will be matched with 500 points from the district (technically, from a handful of Rotarians in the district with extra points). This means that anyone who contributes at least $500 would be guaranteed to reach their next Paul Harris Fellow level, when the points match is included. A flyer with the details is attached that can be shared within your clubs.
