Chris Wells, District Rotaract Representative of District 1070, East Central England
Chris Wells countered the inevitable existential graduate bothering of his 20s by founding a Rotaract club in his hometown of Market Harborough, England. Working with local Rotary, this blossomed into a new breed of Contemporary Rotaract club; something that may be the future of Rotary with all the awesome DOGOODERY it can bring. Becoming DRR of District 1070, Chris helped bring that contemporary model to a successful larger scale, hoping to grow it even further into the future. This success was turbo-fueled this year when he was invited to speak at the International Rotary Convention in Hamburg to tens of thousands of people. He’s also recently become a Paul Harris Fellow. When he isn’t Rotaracting, Chris works for the Go Make A Difference Charity which develops & shares effective thinking tools to under 25s.

Chris’ talk at the 2019 Rotary International Convention was featured in Rotary News: https://rotarynewsonline.org/a-rotaractor-rocks-the-hamburg-convention/
