Yekaterinburg, alternatively Romanized as Ekaterinburg, is the fourth-largest city in Russia and the administrative center of Sverdlovsk Oblast, located in the middle of the Eurasian continent, and sits on the border of Europe and Asia. Rotary Club - Yekaterinburg – Host Club The massive Byzantine-style Church upon the Blood (Храм на Крови) dominates this site where Tsar Nicholas II, his wife and children were murdered by Bolsheviks on the night of 16 July 1918.
Volgograd is one of the most beautiful ancient cities of Russia. It is located in the south-eastern European part of Russia. The city was built as a fortress on the right bank of the Volga River.
The date of birth of the city is July 2, 1589. There is an interesting and rich history in Volgograd with a lot of historical monuments, culture and architecture. After visiting our city, you will have an unforgettable impression. The hero-city is waiting for you, to show you all of it's power and beauty.

In 1967, the Soviet Union dedicated a towering monument to one of its great World War II triumphs. The Motherland Calls stands 170 ft., hoisting a sword to the sky that measures another 108 ft. 200 steps lead to the base of the statue to commemorate the 200-day battle of Stalingrad.
