Wine and cheese!…Rotary and Fun!…Perfect Pairings!!As we approach the end of year holidays many clubs will have special programs of music, entertainment and other socials. Invite friends, family members and co-workers to enjoy the FUN and fellowship of Rotary. Hey, it’s a “perfect pairing”!!
Congratulations to our 24 clubs that have had POSITIVE GROWTH so far this year!! Your district has grown from 1447 members on July 1st to 1500 members at the end of November. A birdie told me today that Pittsburg add 4 new members today!
Here is a quick breakdown according to the RI report:
5%-10% Growth: CARTHAGE, CEDAR CREEK LAKE, HUGO, LONGVIEW, LONGVIEW-GREGGTON, PARIS UNITED, QUITMAN, SOUTH TYLER, TEXARKANA INTERNATIONAL, and TYLER SUNRISE.
11%-20% Growth: E-CLUB LEADERS IN SERVICE, PITTSBURG, WEST BOWIE COUNTY, and WILLS POINT.
50-75% Growth: HENDERSON (50%!!) and WINNSBORO (75%!!!)
ATTRACTION TIPS: 1. GET LIST OF NEW BUSINESS LICENSES THEN VISIT THE NEW BUSINESSES TO SHOW THEM HOW TO “CONNECT” WITH THE COMMUNITY BY ATTENDING A ROTARY “GATHERING”-avoid the word meeting. 2. TAKE YOUR JANUARY-JUNE 2022 CLUB CALENDARS TO BUSINESSES. SHOW YOUR SERVICE PROJECTS AND ASK FOR VOLUNTEERS FROM THEIR COMPANY. MANY COMPANIES WANT TO GIVE BACK, BUILD GOODWILL AND BE SEEN IN THE COMMUNITY.
ENGAGEMENT TIP: Help your Program Chair find good speakers and topics. Education is a strong draw to Rotary and membership.
