At the end of 2021 the Rotary Club of Park Cities began a joint project with their collaborative partner, the Salvation Army, to refurbish and upgrade the outdoor recreation area used by the participants in the Adult Rehabilitation Center.
With in-kind contributions from some of our members, the area was cleared, new landscaping was planted, and the concrete was poured. With much of the major work done, RCPC members gathered on a Saturday morning to paint and to put some finishing touches on the area. Members also have been given the opportunity to contribute to the project by purchasing items like basketballs, pickle balls and rackets, footballs and sets of horseshoes to make the area truly an enjoyable asset for the participants. RCPC plans to have lunch at the Salvation Army later in April with a ribbon-cutting afterwards to celebrate the completion of the project!
