Dentistry With a Heart is a collaborative project between the Rotary Club of Park Cities, Agape Clinic, volunteer dentists and hygienists, and student dentists from the Texas A&M College of Dentistry.  It was begun ten years ago by the three dentists who were members of RCPC to provide free dental care to people who could not otherwise afford it. Among the thousands of dollars worth of services provided include cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canals and partials.

This year’s Dentistry with a Heart took place on the dark and stormy Saturday of October 13, spearheaded by Dr. Michael Rainwater, the only dentist now a member of the club.  Despite the weather thirty-six patients received free dental care, including one man who walked away with a new tooth.  Nineteen of the patients were from the Salvation Army, another collaborative partner of RCPC.
