On Saturday August 8th Circle Ten Council recognized all the Scouts who attained the rank of Eagle Scout during Calendar year 2019, as well as adult volunteers involved in Scouting. The 2019 Eagle Scout Class, totaling almost 1,000 young men, was named in honor of Past Rotary Club of Dallas President and Past District 5810 Governor, Linus D Wright.
In receiving this recognition Linus joins civic leaders such as Ross Perot Sr., Ray Hunt, Bobby Lyle, and Rex Tillerson.
Dr. Dana Sisk of the Bonham Rotary Club was recognized with the Silver Beaver Award, a Council-level distinguished service award recognizing adult leaders who have through many years of service have made an impact on the Scouting Program, and to their community.
An Eagle Scout since the age of fourteen. Charlie Mohrle, Past President of the Rotary Club of Dallas was recognized with the National Outstanding Eagle Scout Award, or NOESA, which is a recognition of an Eagle Scout who has demonstrated outstanding achievement professionally, in community service, and to the scouting program, at the local, state, and regional level.
