On September 21, The Leadership Summit was held for our Interactors. We had an amazing attendance w/over 550 people registered and over 450 students in actual attendance. In addition, we had faculty advisors, Rotarians and RYLArians to round out the total attendance.
Brian Searcy, Retired Airforce Colonel, talked on leadership.  Hopes Door provided an educational lecture on preventing teen dating abuse that was well received.  Zane Kalson and Julia Lin provided leadership information for Interactors and students learning about Interact. They discussed expectations for presidential citations and service events for this year.

The House of Interact displayed several wonderful opportunities for service, and it allowed the clubs to show off the service work that current Interact Clubs are doing. Interact Clubs are doing phenomenal things within our district!  Several Interact clubs have adopted a Malawi, Africa student. Education in Malawi has become the forefront of world news and we are proud to be a part of that in our district. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/royal-family/2019/09/29/duchess-sussex-reunites-prince-harry-talk-female-education-malawi/

According to those who are familiar with past Interact Leadership Summits, this was the largest summit in recent history, and it is indictive to what we expect, going forward during this Interact year. We are building on the excellent tradition of the past and benefiting from the high energy and talent of our current team. Within our district, 3 new Interact Clubs are currently being formed and established clubs are experiencing dramatic growth.

We have more events coming up! We are pleased to see that our Interactors are on fire!!!
