As previously announced, a selection committee was convened and selected Howard Templin of the Rotary Club of Dallas as the District Governor Nominee Designate. A protest was filed locally based on a perceived violation of MOP enforcement. An investigation was made, and while the MOP as written should be considered for new amendments at the Springtime Business meeting, the District followed the procedures in place at the time. No formal protest was filed according to Rotary International procedure, and it was decided and shared with Rotary International that the selection shall stand.
