PARTY AND TRAIN! Come Celebrate Rotary with all of District 5810.  We have a full weekend of fun and training planned to celebrate all our accomplishments of the past year.  It kicks off with an outdoor concert on the lake! Come make new friends and renew old ones all in the spirit of Rotary fellowship.

Imagine this hotel lit up with “End Polio Now” and “Thanks Rotary” just like Rotary has done with landmarks all around the world.  It will become reality on Thursday night, May 8, 2014 when Rotary District 5810’s conference kicks off with the City of Rockwall sponsored Concert By The Lake.  That is just the beginning -
Thursday, May 8—Reception for the RI President’s Representative and Concert By The Lake with special seating for all Rotary members and guests.
 
Friday, May 9—All Club Luncheon featuring Steve Blow, Dallas Morning News columnist who will speak on having a civil public discourse.  How can we disagree agreeably?  All clubs are encouraged to reschedule their regular weekly meetings.  Friday evening will feature free food, music, fun and spirits at multiple hospitality suites sponsored by Rotary clubs.
 
Saturday AM, May 10—District Training Assembly.  All current and future leaders of all Rotary clubs are expected to attend this training.  This year the training will be conducted by RILI Alumni so you know it will be special.
 
Saturday Lunch, May 10—This event, hosted by the Rockwall Noon Club and President Jon Bailey, will be picnic themed and will be held on the patio at the hotel (weather permitting).  We will celebrate all the accomplishments of our district and award most of the district awards.
 
Saturday Afternoon, May 10—Our membership team will lead a forum to help next year’s leaders plan their strategy to increase membership.  Afterwards you will be free to enjoy the many attractions in Rockwall including -
 
Saturday Evening, May 10—Hosted by the Rockwall Breakfast Club and President Trenton Cornehl, this will be a very special evening including major awards for the district.  We are also featuring a special presentation of all club Presidents and Presidents-Elect. 
Your club leadership will be introduced to the district and greeted by the Governor Team and the RI President’s Representative Robert Hall.  The evening will be capped off with a must-see presentation by our Keynote speaker, Amanda Wirtz.
 
Sunday Morning, May 11 - We will have an interfaith worship service and a special memorial service for all Rotarians in our district that have passed away since our last conference.  Come place a rose to celebrate the lives of those no longer with us.
