From Tuesday, July 5th to Sunday, July 10th, Plano Sunrise and the North Texas Pioneers, with the leadership of George Elking, assisted in collecting 302 pints of blood at 14 drives for the Battle of the Badges friendly competition. This amount of blood has the potential to save 906 lives! The Plano Police won the competition over Plano Fire-Rescue 152 to 144. It was a close one!
