The Rotary Foundation District Grants Awarded

Rotary Foundation grants for twenty-six clubs and the District were approved in the amount of $63,517. Amounts awarded to clubs vary from $500 to $5,000.

 

Requests this year totaled $69,233. That was $5,716 more than we had to spend. The committee reviewed grants in Tier 3 to determine where to make cuts. The considerations that determined cuts were late reports on open grants, late signatures on applications, low amount of active Rotarian involvement, and below average club per capita giving to the Annual Fund-SHARE for the year 2016-2017.

 

Progress or final reports for grants awarded this year are due by May 15, 2020. Applications for next year’s District Block Grant are due June 1, 2020. It isn’t too early to start looking for your next grant project!
