Montpelier Rotary Club recently completed a small shelter at the local dog park

The Montpelier Rotary Club recently completed a small shelter at the local dog park so that people could sit in the shade while letting their pets run free.  The materials were purchased using a District Dedicated Fund grant and club members did the construction. 

 

Lumber prices had increased between the grant application submittal and the actual project, so some materials were donated by club members.  The Club donated to the building of the dog park itself a few years ago when two local High School seniors chose it as their senior project.
