Ian Riseley LIVE from Australia to Idaho!
On Thursday, February 20, your members and their friends are invited to hear Ian Riseley, Rotary International President 2017-18, present LIVE from Australia to Rotary District 5400. The Rotary clubs of Boise, Buhl, Eagle-Garden City, Emmett, Hailey, and Rexburg will air the presentation. If you wish to attend and do not belong to one of these clubs, please RSVP HERE by Wednesday, February 12.
 Why is this important?
  • It may be one of the few chances for most of our members to hear a Rotary International President present to them live.
  • Many of our members know him for inspiring us to Make a Difference through our tree planting efforts.
  • This event is a huge opportunity for a district of our size. We only make up 0.14% of Rotarians worldwide.
  • It is quite a sacrifice for President Riseley as he will be presenting to us at 6:30 am on Friday in Australia (12:30 pm our time).
  • I, Laurie, am guessing that he is not only occupied with his business and his international Rotary duties, but especially dealing with his country’s current natural disasters. How can we ever thank him for making time for us?
Would you like to share this with your club? Here is an announcement to add to your newsletter and a PowerPoint slide. Hosting clubs request that guests RSVP by Wed, Feb 12 at Rotary5400-->Earth Stewardship-->Events
