Congratulations to the Grande Cache Rotary Club and the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie on the creation of a satellite club and partnership!

The Grande Cache Rotarians have demonstrated immense dedication and focus to the gift of Service Above Self, which in turn has positively impacted their community of just over 4, 300 people.

Rotary is trusted within the Grande Cache community for leading numerous projects like Santa's Anonymous, Festival of Trees, Soap Box Derby, Grade 3 Dictionaries, Shelter Box, ANSO Cards, Co Host All Star Hockey Game, Support Local Literacy Projects, School Carnivals, and Books for Ethiopia.

This dedicated group of eight members have joined in partnership with the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie as a satellite club with a goal of strengthening their Rotary world.

This newly created Satellite Club is the first in District 5370 and identifies ways in which Rotary has the capacity to be flexible to meet the needs of our members and clubs. The partnership allows for a flexible meeting structure and to continue a strong dedication to community work which in turn will help them grow their membership.

All members of the Grande Cache Club are now members of the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie and are now under the governance structure of Grande Prairie. They are included in all Grande Prairie membership activities, and are to manage all activities in accordance within the structure of the Grande Prairie Club plus the objectives of Rotary International. Grande Cache is responsible for their day-to-day activities and will report to Grande Prairie on membership, activities, programs, and financials.

Thank you, Past District Governor Linda, for joining the two groups in Grande Cache on June 29th to share in the announcement and celebrations of the creation of “The Grande Cache Satellite of the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie”!
