Volunteers Needed for UnGala 2019
Last year's inaugural UnGala was a huge success, thanks to those of you who were able to help. YOU are our amazing volunteers!
The event is back this year on October 1st at the same location:
Bowness Community Association (BCA)
7904 43 Ave NW, Calgary, AB T3B 4P9
The BCA is also one of the Community Hubs supported by our club, the United Way and the City of Calgary as part of the Community HUBS initiative.
Of course, we can't pull this off without your help! This year we have clearly split volunteer opportunities into 3 categories:
- SET UP (from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm - end time can be earlier depending on completion of setup)
- EVENING (from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm)
- CLEAN UP (from 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm)
Come and enjoy the fun and camaraderie! Those in the evening shift will get a chance to enjoy the humour of Danny Hooper, our fundraising auctioneer, as well as our surprise comedy act! Click HERE to Check Out Volunteer Positions and SIGN UP
Of course, we'll feed you! And those working the evening shifts will receive a pretty RED bowtie. This was super effective last year as everyone was dressed in black or white or black & white, so our super volunteers were easily recognizable and looked quite spectacular! Only those in the evening shift need to wear the standard dress (white tops, black bottoms).
