The Oliver Rotary Club fund raises to support the growth of the youth of the community as well as supporting international programs such as World Neighbours Canada that assists villages in rural Nepal to construct water systems to ensure clean drinking water is provided to the village residents. The Oliver Rotary Club also supports the Desert Valley Hospice Society, established “H2H, Highway to Healing Support Society” which assists many families in our area who have had to take their sick and distressed children to distant locations for treatments. We have also committed to raising $30,000 for the Penticton Regional Hospital new tower.
This year the Rotary Club of Oliver is holding a Treasures of the South Okanagan Fundraising raffle. The fundraiser draws upon the unique holiday/vacation attractions the South Okanagan offers.
