Rotary Theme Months

The Rotary International Board has updated the theme months to highlight the Six Areas of Focus.

The Board modified Rotary's calendar of special observances to designate specific months highlighting the Areas of Focus. The observance months are:

  • September: Basic Education and Literacy
  • October: Economic and Community Development
  • November remains as Rotary Foundation Month
  • December: Disease Prevention and Treatment
  • January: Vocational Service
  • February: Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution
  • March: Water and Sanitation
  • April: Maternal and Child Health
  • May: Youth Services
