A Day Filled With Golf
Friends & Fundraising

Golfun 2012 was a great success!

The sun was shining, the golfers were smiling and we raised a lot of money to help a lot of people.

Governor Elect Denis Boyd threw himself a great 65th birthday bash with more than 144 of his friends on Friday, August 24 at the annual Rotary District 5050 golf tournament.

Thank you to the Rotary clubs and individual Rotarians who helped Denis celebrate by donating over $65,000 - more than one for each of Denis' birthdays.

The money going to the Rotary Foundation will help us continue to do good in the world and will change the lives of thousands of children, families and communities both locally and around the world.

Special thanks to the Golfun Organizing Committee -  Assistant Governors Linda Murray, Orphalee Smith and Pat Bond, along with Kathy Hughes, and Clive Evans - and the event volunteers - Duane Buchanan, Bill Robson, Doug Denyer, Lyle Ryan, Maureen Boyd, Adriel Wilson, Lee Harman, Dick Irwin, Jennifer Petrichenko, Janice Khunkhun, Marissa Wood, Nita Hollick and Sean Hogan - who made the day possible.
