DONATIONS TO ROTARY FOUNDATION - MATCHING POINTS OFFER
DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 30 SEPTEMBER 2020
Paul Harris matching points will be awarded to individual members for every donation of $250 or more to the Annual Fund or PolioPlus. Donations made between 1 July and 30 September are eligible.
There will also be an incredibly special, much coveted, soon to be a collectible
25th Anniversary GolFUN certificate.
Time is running out to get in the game! To commemorate the 25th anniversary golf tournament that wasn't, every Club is asked to donate $2,500, whether directly from the Club's treasury or via individual donors or a combination of both by the end of September.
Seven Clubs (as of late August) have already exceeded this goal. Thus, qualifying for an incredibly special, much coveted, soon to be a collectible 25th Anniversary GolFUN certificate as well as recognition in the Peace Arch Journal and during the Foundation event in November. The seven clubs are: Abbotsford-Sumas, Burlington, Coquitlam, Coquitlam Sunrise, Langley, Langley Central and Stanwood-Camano.
Send us an email to let us know how much your Club and Members will/have be supporting The Rotary Foundation? Donations should be made directly to TRF either by mail or online. To obtain the matching points for individual donations over $250, your email needs to include a list of the names, amounts, and RI member numbers.
SPECIAL NOTE TO CANADIAN CLUBS: The Canadian Government, as part of their COVID-19 relief program, sent most Canadian seniors a $300 tax-free support cheque. For couples that is $600. Others also received an additional $500 in support. A minimum donation of $250 will get you an additional 250 matching points. A donation of $500 USD will get you a Paul Harris – just sayin, eh!
You may not know who will receive the benefit of your generosity, but they will know it was a Rotarian!
Do not delay make sure you and your club are recognized. Deadline 30 September 2020
