Normally an incentive to encourage members to donate to The Rotary Foundation is part of the Annual District Foundation Dinner. This incentive has been in the form of silent auctions, gift basket draws, 50/50 draws and matching Paul Harris recognition points. On average these incentives raise an extra USD $6,500 in donations to The Rotary Foundation.

This year, COVID forced us to go to a virtual gala making it impossible to do the normal fun incentives. Hence, the November Foundation Month Bonanza was created.

I am happy to report that the November Foundation Month Bonanza was a great success!
  • 33 members made their first ever donation to The Rotary Foundation and had their name entered into the draw for a Paul Harris Fellow.
Winner of a Paul Harris Fellow #1 is Josephine Tsen, Coquitlam

  • 36 members made an additional donation between $100 - $249 to The Rotary Foundation and had their name entered into the draw for a Paul Harris Fellow.
Winner of a Paul Harris Fellow #2 is Walt Greenwood, Everett

  • 24 members made an additional donation over $250 to The Rotary Foundation and had their name entered into the draw for a Paul Harris Fellow plus they will receive matching Paul Harris recognition Points.
Winner of the Paul Harris Fellow #3 is Laura Burton, Everett-Port Gardner
In total, 93 District 5050 Members from 25 Clubs took advantage of the incentives offered. The total Matching Recognition Points distributed was 14,417.

Total amount raised for The Rotary Foundation USD $15,864.

Special thank you to Past District Governor Larry & Linda Jubie for donating their matching recognition points.

Point award recognition materials have been sent to your Club President for distribution.

Thank you for your participation and support of your Rotary Foundation.
