ROLE OF THE CLUB FOUNDATION CHAIR

MALCOLM KENNEDY, DISTRICT FOUNDATION CHAIR

We often "appoint" the Past President to become the next Club Foundation Chair and then we give them little or no training.  Does this sound familiar?

This will be an introduction to the Role of Club Foundation Chair, topics to include:

  • What are the Responsibilities of the Club Foundation Chair?  Setting goals.
  • Where do I go for help, what reports do I have access to?
  • Where does the money we donate go and how do we get access to it.
  • Using District Grants and Global Grants to su[[orto your club projects.
  • Donor Recognition, Club Recognition, How to donate.

Recommended for:  Rotarians who are about to become the next Club Foundation Chair plus current Foundation Chairs that could still use some help or have a proven track record and are willing to share their knowledge.
