MLA Kathy Corrigan Statement on Rotary Club of Burnaby Metrotown's Rotary Coats for Kids, October 8, 2015 in the BC Legislature.

Each year the Burnaby Metrotown Rotary Club purchases new coats and collects used coats for children and youth in Burnaby.  Last year we delivered 1700 coats to   local Burnaby schools for children who are in need.  Our kickoff event was held on September 12th and was a great success, handing out information to over 400 families.

If you would like to help children and youth in Burnaby you can do so by either donating "new and gently used" waterproof coats with hoods or donating cash or cheques.  $20 will buy a new coat and a tax receipt will be given for donations over $15.00.  Donation boxes will be accepted at;

  • Any Burnaby Public Libraries - donations accepted until October 31st
  • Burnaby Neighborhood House - 4550 Beresford St or 4463 Hastings Avenue in Burnaby.  Donations accepted until December 31st
