Past District Governor 2012-13
Rebecca has been a Rotarian since 2000 and is a member of the Rotary Club of Quesnel. She served as president in 2004-2005; and has been on her club board as treasurer or director every year since joining Rotary. She held the position of District 5040 Interact Chair from 2009-2011. She is currently a RLI facilitator. Rebecca is a Rotary Foundation major donor and a member of the Paul Harris Society.
Rebecca is married to Ted Cryderman who is also a PHF. They have five grown children, 12 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Rebecca and her husband recently sold their business of 35 years in Quesnel, BC where they offered electric contracting and retail sales and computer sales and service. As well as managing the computer side of the business Rebecca offered training for their clients on how to use computers and computerized bookkeeping. They both continue to work as contractors offering business management and bookkeeping services. Rebecca has been on the board of the Quesnel Chamber of Commerce, North Cariboo Community Futures and Success by Six.
In their leisure time Rebecca and Ted enjoy spending time with their family and friends. Rebecca enjoys cooking and entertaining. They are well known for their themed dinner parties, most noticeably dinners auctioned each year at their Foundation Dinner. When they have time they both like to explore the Cariboo on their ATV’s and going to Hawaii in the winter. Ted spends whatever free time he can rebuilding vintage trucks.
